SAT and ACT ready?
Test Prep: Are You Ready for the SAT and the ACT?
Current juniors, have you starting thinking about taking the standardized tests that will help you get into college? If not, don’t panic, there is still time – but you need to get the ball rolling. By your senior year, you will want to have taken both tests so that you are able to start applying to different schools. Many juniors elect to take each test for the first time the Spring of their Junior year, which is a good time to start, because you will have acquired most of the math and other skills needed for the test. Additionally, starting early provides ample time to retake the test if you are unhappy with your scores.
So, what should you do to prepare for the test?
First, you should understand how each of the tests are scored. Then you should be thinking about what schools you’d like to go to and do research on what scores they are looking for. Set goals!
